1. The Universal Standard: Raising the Bar for Every Product
In Singapore, Complementary Health Products are divided into categories with different manufacturing rules. While Traditional Medicines (TM) and Health Supplements (HS) have less stringent requirements, we choose to apply one universal, uncompromising rule: The Highest Standard for All Products: CPM GMP
The Regulatory Minimum |
The Thomson Commitment |
Health supplements and traditional medicines have no manufacturing standards to follow under Singapore regulations, whereas CPM must be produced under strict GMP requirements. |
We proactively hold all three of our product categories—Chinese Proprietary Medicines (CPM), Traditional Medicines, and Health Supplements—to the single highest standard: the stringent Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines required for CPM, including key elements like comprehensive quality systems, validated cleanrooms, trained personnel, and full batch documentation/ testing. |
